Br680,000 will be allocated from the President's reserve fund to encourage gifted pupils and students
Br680 thousand will be allocated from the reserve fund of the President of Belarus to encourage gifted students and those who prepared them. The relevant decision of the special fund for social support of gifted students was approved by an order signed by the Head of State, Alexander Lukashenko. BELTA was informed about this by the press service of the Belarusian leader.
In accordance with this decision, 26 grand prizes were awarded with the presentation of the badge "Laureate of the Special Fund of the President of the Republic of Belarus for the Social Support of Gifted Students" and 217 special prizes were awarded to the winners of republican Olympiads and competitions. 21 pedagogical workers will receive remuneration for their special contribution to the development of the abilities of gifted students.
In addition, 173 students and cadets of higher education institutions were awarded the scholarship of the President of Belarus for excellent academic performance, success in research and creative activities.
The order of the Head of State is aimed at identifying and supporting the most motivated and gifted youth, creating favorable conditions for their successful studies, scientific and creative activities, and stimulating the professional growth of educators.
