President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko congratulated the employees and veterans of the Gorodeya Sugar Factory on the 65th anniversary of the enterprise's establishment. This was reported to BELTA by the press service of the Head of State.
"The sweet history of the enterprise began on the eve of the new, 1961, when the first batch of Gorodeya sugar was produced. These two words have become one of the most recognizable domestic food brands, loved in Belarus and far beyond its borders," the congratulation reads.
Alexander Lukashenko noted that the Gorodeya Sugar Factory, being a city-forming enterprise, has been steadily gaining strength year after year, opening fundamentally new directions: the production of juices, jams, preserves, vegetable products, and fruit and berry semi-finished products, and also ensures the operation of its own chain of "SaharOK" stores and a branch - a large agricultural producer "PIK-Lesnoye".
"I am convinced that you will continue to successfully tackle the large-scale tasks facing the factory and make a significant contribution to ensuring the country's food security," the President emphasized.
The Head of State wished the staff and veterans of the enterprise good health, peace, kindness, and new achievements for the benefit of their native Belarus.
