77 residents of Brest, Vitebsk, Gomel, Grodno and Minsk regions were awarded the Order of Motherhood

On December 23, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed Decree No. 470 on awarding the Order of Mother. This was reported to BELTA by the press service of the Head of State.


The awards were given to employees from various fields for giving birth to and raising five or more children. Among them are representatives of industrial and agro-industrial enterprises, construction, petrochemical, and social sector organizations, the banking sector, pharmaceuticals, trade and communications, educational, healthcare, culture, and sports institutions, as well as individual entrepreneurs and housewives.

Among the awardees are Yulia Dukhovich, a teacher at the Voronovskaya Secondary School of the Vitebsk District named after I.E. Beskhlebny; Daria Vasilyuk, a confectioner at the confectionery shop of Brest OJSC "Prod'tovary"; Yulia Mitsyuk, Chairperson of the Board of Housing Consumer Cooperative No. 148 in Brest; Olga Evseeva, a specialist in retail banking services at the retail banking products and services sales department of the retail business center of Vitebsk Regional Directorate No. 200 of OJSC "Savings Bank "Belarusbank"; Natalia Vasilenko, Chief Curator of Funds at the Center for History and Culture of the Oktyabrsky District; Ekaterina Pikuza, a plasterer at OJSC "Mozyrsky Domostroitel'ny Kombinat"; Natalia Vecher, a pediatrician and rehabilitation physician at the children's polyclinic of the Volkovysk Central District Hospital; Elena Zhukovskaya, a cook at the Yanovichsky Kindergarten of the Kletsk District; and Liliya Panchenko, a plastic caster at OJSC "Berezinskoye" of the Molodechno District.

A total of 77 residents from Brest, Vitebsk, Gomel, Grodno, and Minsk regions were awarded the Order of Mother.
