Lukashenko: Minsk strives to become an international trade, logistics, and production hub
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has stated Minsk's aspiration to become an international trade, logistics, and production hub. This is stated in his article published on the electronic portal of the Omandaily newspaper, as reported by BELTA.
The Head of State assured that Belarusian exporters are ready for joint development of new markets within the framework of Oman's national program to attract foreign investment.
"Thanks to its location, Minsk also aims to strengthen investment cooperation by attracting high-quality direct foreign investment to implement the ambitious task of becoming an international trade, logistics, and production hub," the article states.
The President is confident that this is an excellent opportunity for Omani companies seeking areas for investment in non-resource sectors. "Such a partnership will contribute to the development of the production base in various sectors of the economy and increase the contribution of exports to the GDP of our countries," Alexander Lukashenko noted.
