Lukashenko: the probable adversary must understand that it is necessary to live in friendship with Belarus

The Belarusian army poses no threat to anyone and serves as a tool to prevent war, and in case of aggression, it must be capable of repelling it. This was stated by President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko on December 12 during a meeting of the Security Council of Belarus, as reported by a BELTA correspondent.

"We will also take certain preemptive measures so that our potential adversaries and rivals understand that it is better not to mess with us, that we need to live in peace with them. We are directing the entire policy of our state towards this," Alexander Lukashenko emphasized.

The President noted that the Belarusian army poses no threat to anyone and serves as a tool to prevent war, and in case of aggression, it must be capable of repelling it. "This is the main purpose of the state's military organization," the Commander-in-Chief pointed out.
