President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko congratulated Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Imangali Tasmagambetov on his birthday. BELTA was informed about this by the press service of the Belarusian leader.
"Belarus highly values your contribution to strengthening and developing the Collective Security Treaty Organization, which, in the complex military-political environment, continues to be an integral element of maintaining peace, security, and stability in the Eurasian space. I am grateful for your attentive attitude towards preserving for current and future generations the memory of the unparalleled courage of the multinational Soviet people who defeated Nazism," the congratulatory message reads.
"I am convinced that your active life stance, high professionalism, and rich life experience will continue to serve for the benefit of peace, tranquility, and prosperity of our countries and peoples," the head of state noted.
