Peaceful atom, smart city construction. Lukashenko outlined prospects for cooperation with Egypt
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko congratulated President of Egypt Abdel Fattah el-Sisi on his 70th birthday. This was reported to BELTA by the press service of the Belarusian leader.
"Under your leadership, the country has a strong and constructive voice in the region, actively contributing to de-escalation of tensions and the search for peaceful conflict resolution. The establishment of a just world order, security, and stability are of paramount importance for Belarus as well. I hope that the situation in the Middle East will soon allow you to pay an official visit to Minsk," Alexander Lukashenko emphasized.
The Head of State noted that during a personal meeting, the parties will be able to not only discuss the further development of landmark joint projects, which are already successfully implemented with the support of the President of Egypt, but also outline prospects for cooperation in new areas, such as the peaceful use of atomic energy, the application of the latest technologies for building smart cities, and others.
Alexander Lukashenko wished Abdel Fattah el-Sisi good health and wise decisions in his responsible state activities for the benefit of Egypt.
