Lukashenko: Belarus and Oman are confidently moving forward, deepening cooperation in all areas
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, on behalf of the Belarusian people and himself, congratulated the Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tariq Al Said and the people of this country on their National Day. This was reported to BELTA by the press service of the Belarusian leader.
"This great holiday symbolizes the unity and strength of the country, as well as pride in its achievements," the congratulatory message reads. "Your activities to develop Oman as a center of economic and political stability in the region, and strategic initiatives to modernize infrastructure create conditions for the growth of well-being of Omani citizens and strengthen the international authority of the Sultanate."
The Head of State noted that Belarus and Oman, within the framework of more than 30 years of friendship, are confidently moving forward, deepening cooperation in all areas.
"I count on your personal support in implementing the agreements reached on expanding trade, industrial partnerships with a focus on joint production, developing transport and logistics routes and investment projects, and increasing cooperation in information technology and humanitarian spheres," the President emphasized. "I will be very pleased to meet with you to discuss the prospects for the development of our relations."
Alexander Lukashenko wished Haitham bin Tariq Al Said excellent health and the fulfillment of his plans, and the people of Oman peace and further progress.
