Lukashenko and Aliyev held talks in Baku
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko held talks with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev in Baku, BelTA reports.
The presidents noted the intensity of recent meetings. First and foremost, it is worth recalling Alexander Lukashenko's state visit to Azerbaijan in May of this year. At that time, the heads of state held productive negotiations with a focus on trade and economic cooperation. Twelve areas were developed, which are intended to advance the relationship between the two countries to a higher level, both immediately and in the future.
"We agreed on many things. I think we have everything necessary to move forward on this path. Just before, we reviewed all the issues that we raised with you. They are very relevant for us. I think if our ministries and the ambassador get moving, we can do a lot for the benefit of both Belarus and Azerbaijan," Alexander Lukashenko said at the meeting in Baku.
