Belarus and Russia are discussing the construction of a high-speed highway Moscow - Brest. This was stated by the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko on October 21, while hearing a report on the development of the network of republican highways and the formation of transport infrastructure ensuring hourly accessibility to satellite cities, BELTA correspondent reports.

"With the President of Russia Vladimir Putin, we agreed that in the near future we will discuss the issues of building a high-speed highway through Belarus from Moscow to the west. To Brest, at least. If the Westerners want to participate in this, we will work up to Berlin. If not, then to Brest and back east. This, one might say, is already a foregone conclusion," Alexander Lukashenko stated.
