Lukashenko extended the decree on supporting physical culture and sports organizations, but there are nuances

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has extended the validity of Decree No. 191 "On providing support to physical culture and sports organizations" dated April 15, 2013, until June 30, 2025. The head of state signed the corresponding Decree No. 396 on October 17, BELTA was informed by the press service of the Belarusian leader.

As explained by the Presidential press service, the government is currently preparing proposals to improve the system of support in the sports industry, including strengthening control over the allocation of funds from local budgets and state enterprises for these purposes, and optimizing the financing of team sports clubs based on their sporting results.
