Lukashenko expressed condolences to Myanmar over the victims of Typhoon Yagi

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko sent condolences to the Prime Minister of Myanmar, Chairman of the State Administration Council of Myanmar Min Aung Hlaing in connection with victims of the typhoon. This was reported to BELTA by the press service of the Belarusian leader.

 
"Unfortunately, your country has not been spared the tragedy brought by Typhoon Yagi. Hundreds of residents have fallen victim to the elements, and serious damage has been inflicted on the national economy. In this difficult time, on behalf of the Belarusian people and myself, I extend words of deep sympathy to you, the families of the deceased, and all citizens who have suffered from the consequences of the typhoon," the condolences read.
 
Alexander Lukashenko wished for the situation in Myanmar to normalize as soon as possible, and for people to feel safe and calm again.
