Lukashenko: Belarus-Saudi Arabia cooperation has reached a qualitatively new level

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, on behalf of the Belarusian people and himself, congratulated the King of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the friendly people of the Kingdom on their National Day. This was reported to BELTA by the press service of the Belarusian leader.

"Based on the glorious traditions of ancestors, today the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is strengthening its position as an influential country in world and regional politics, plays an important role in major integration associations, and confidently builds the economy of the future," the congratulatory message to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud reads.

The Head of State noted that over the past year, the interaction between Belarus and Saudi Arabia has been elevated to a qualitatively new level. This is evidenced by the growth of trade indicators, the intensification of contacts in all sectors, and the opening of the Belarusian Embassy in Riyadh.

"I will be glad to visit your country at a convenient time to discuss the most pressing issues and coordinate a plan for further joint actions in the political, trade, economic, and humanitarian spheres," the President noted.

In his congratulatory message to the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom, Alexander Lukashenko expressed confidence that the exchange of experience and coordination of positions on current issues of the international agenda will allow both countries to more actively shape a common vision of a just multipolar world order based on mutual respect and the principles of non-interference in internal affairs.
