Lukashenko: Time has proven the correctness of the decision to establish the Investigative Committee

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko congratulated employees and veterans of preliminary investigation bodies on their professional holiday. This was reported to BELTA by the press service of the Head of State.

"Time has proven the correctness of the decision to create the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus, whose effective activity in the field of pre-trial criminal proceedings has ensured a comprehensive approach to combating crime, protecting the constitutional order, the rights and legitimate interests of every citizen and society as a whole," the congratulatory message reads.

The Head of State noted that employees of preliminary investigation bodies, through their daily work, demonstrating attentiveness and objectivity in investigating criminal cases, each of which involves human destinies, also strengthen trust in law enforcement agencies and state institutions.

"I am convinced that your devotion to the Motherland, loyalty to the oath, professionalism, and demandingness will allow you to continue to solve all assigned tasks at the proper level, fully ensuring the principles of the inevitability of punishment and the rule of law," Alexander Lukashenko emphasized.

The President wished employees and veterans of preliminary investigation bodies, their families, relatives, and friends good health, happiness, well-being, and success in their work for the benefit of Belarus.
