Lukashenko congratulated the President of Tajikistan on the national holiday

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, on behalf of the Belarusian people and himself personally, congratulated President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon on the national holiday - Independence Day. This was reported to BELTA by the press service of the Belarusian leader.

"Belarusians have a special warmth for your country, which harmoniously combines special attention to its rich cultural heritage with a drive towards the future. Over the years of independence, Tajikistan has achieved impressive success in the socio-economic sphere, ensuring national security, and strengthening equitable and mutually beneficial cooperation in the international arena," the congratulatory message reads.

"I highly value our long-standing trusting dialogue and hope for its continuation in an atmosphere of friendship and understanding. I am deeply convinced that Belarusian-Tajik partnership, based on our shared historical past, will continue to actively develop," noted the President of Belarus.

Alexander Lukashenko wished Emomali Rahmon good health and well-being, and all citizens of Tajikistan - stability, peace, and prosperity.
