Head of State Alexander Lukashenko congratulated the employees and veterans of the state statistics bodies of the Republic of Belarus on their professional holiday. BELTA was informed about this by the press service of the Belarusian leader.

"Modern statistics is not just numbers, it is a powerful resource of reliable information for making important state decisions aimed at improving national prosperity and the quality of life of citizens," noted the President of Belarus. "You are doing everything to ensure that this resource is comprehensive and objective: keeping pace with the times, you successfully use innovative methods and implement the most advanced technologies, which allows you to meet international standards in the field of statistical production."

The Head of State addressed special words of gratitude and wishes for health and longevity to the veterans of state statistics, who made a great contribution to its formation and trained the current generation of professionals.

"I am convinced that the employees of the state statistics bodies will continue to build up their potential, and high quality and striving for improvement will remain the fundamental criteria of your work," noted Alexander Lukashenko.

The President wished everyone good health, peace, well-being, further success and new achievements for the prosperity of their native Belarus.
