Andrei Filatov appointed First Deputy Chairman of the State Border Committee

Colonel Andrey Filatov has been appointed First Deputy Chairman of the State Border Committee. The corresponding decree was signed by the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko on August 21, BELTA was informed by the press service of the head of state.

 
Major General Igor Butkevich, who held this position, has been dismissed from military service to the reserve due to age, with the right to wear military uniform and insignia.
