Белкоопсоюз реализовал в Российскую Федерацию порядка 40 т черники нового урожая

Belcoopsoyuz supplied about 40 tons of new crop blueberries to the Russian Federation

Belkoopsoyuz has supplied approximately 40 tons of new crop blueberries to the Russian Federation. This was announced at a press conference by Oksana Skinder, Head of the Procurement Department of Belkoopsoyuz, as reported by a BELTA correspondent.

"In 2024, we planned to purchase significant volumes of wild berries, but weather conditions had their impact. According to the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the berry yield this year is average, rated at 3-4 points. Despite all the difficulties, we have still begun exporting wild blueberries, and currently, we have already supplied 40 tons of 2024 crop blueberries to the Russian Federation," said Oksana Skinder.

According to her, China is a country that can become the main buyer of wild products for Belarus today.

In addition, Belkoopsoyuz is actively stocking up on "borscht set" products in stabilization funds for the inter-seasonal period. Reserves of potatoes, fresh vegetables, and apples are being created to ensure the population feels secure with the traditional set of vegetables and vitamins they are accustomed to receiving in winter and spring.

"This year, we plan to purchase about 12,000 tons of potatoes, 32,000 tons of vegetables, and over 50,000 tons of fruits and berries, which we will utilize to the maximum extent later," summarized the Head of the Procurement Department of Belkoopsoyuz.
