МИД: Никарагуа - перспективный партнер для Беларуси, нам есть что предложить этой стране

MFA: Nicaragua is a promising partner for Belarus, we have something to offer this country

Nicaragua is a promising partner for Belarus, and we have something to offer this country. This was stated to journalists by the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, Sergei Lukashevich, as reported by a BELTA correspondent.

"We arrived in Nicaragua from Cuba with great enthusiasm as part of a delegation led by the Prime Minister. Nicaragua is our potential partner. Very interesting meetings and negotiations on a wide range of cooperation areas await us here. I am referring to meetings of business circles, as well as individual negotiations on the supply of Belarusian products. We will be talking about tractors and automotive equipment. Meetings at the highest level are also planned. Belarusians are expected here, we are pleased to be here, and we have something to offer this country," said Sergei Lukashevich.

He noted that Nicaragua is currently gaining momentum in economic development. "A number of infrastructure projects are being implemented here, which are important not only for the Central American region but for the entire planet. In particular, the country intends to dig a new canal. And we believe that our equipment should be present in this country. Roman Alexandrovich (Golovchenko. - BELTA's note) spoke about this during preliminary negotiations, and today the negotiations will continue. In parallel, negotiations between departments, institutions, and plants will take place," the First Deputy Minister noted.

Earlier, Roman Golovchenko paid an official visit to Venezuela and Cuba. Work on developing cooperation with distant countries continues in Nicaragua. According to the head of the Belarusian government, the main goal is to lay a solid foundation for future work.
