Беларусь продлила действие временных ставок ввозных таможенных пошлин для товаров из недружественных стран

Belarus has extended the validity of temporary import customs duty rates for goods from unfriendly countries

On July 10, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed Decree No. 278, which extends the validity of Decree No. 16 of January 12, 2024 "On Temporary Establishment of Import Customs Duty Rates" until June 30, 2025.

In accordance with the document, the list of goods subject to increased import customs duty rates has also been expanded. This was reported to BELTA by the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The decree is adopted to protect the economic interests of the country and to take retaliatory measures against certain foreign states committing unfriendly actions against Belarus.
