Lukashenko: peace and harmony in society are impossible without the daily work of the prosecutor's office

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko congratulated the employees and veterans of the prosecutor's office on their professional holiday - Prosecutor's Office Employee Day. BELTA was informed about this by the press service of the Head of State.

"The prosecutor's corps of sovereign Belarus makes a significant contribution to the development of the state, the improvement of its legal mechanisms and the ensuring of the legal rights and interests of citizens. Your daily work, without which peace and harmony in society are impossible, the supervision of the execution of laws in all spheres of life, requires great professionalism, principledness and objectivity. And all these qualities are fully inherent in the majority of employees of the prosecutor's office," the congratulation reads.

Alexander Lukashenko noted that in the year of the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders, the investigation by prosecutors of the criminal case on the genocide of the Belarusian people, which reveals new pages of the tragedy of the civilian population during the Great Patriotic War, the truth about the feat of ancestors and the true price of freedom and independence of Belarusians, acquires special significance.

The Head of State addressed special words of gratitude to the veterans who made a great contribution to the formation and strengthening of the prosecutor's office.
