244 people have been granted Belarusian citizenship, including 24 minors
On June 11, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed Decree No. 223 on the admission of 244 people, including 24 minors, to Belarusian citizenship. This was reported to BELTA by the press service of the Head of State.
New citizens of our country are individuals who arrived from 18 states. The presentation of Belarusian passports to them will be preceded by a solemn ceremony of taking the oath of a citizen of the Republic of Belarus.
At the same time, the Head of State decided to reject a number of applications from foreign citizens who have not fulfilled all the conditions for admission to citizenship of the Republic of Belarus established by national legislation.
