Lukashenko congratulated Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his victory in the parliamentary elections
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, on behalf of the Belarusian people and himself personally, congratulated Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi on his well-deserved victory in the parliamentary elections in that country. BELTA was informed about this by the press service of the Belarusian leader.
"You have honorably completed the election campaign, ensured the continuity of power and conditions for further economic and social development of India, and strengthened its authority in the international arena," the congratulatory message reads.
The President expressed hope that Belarusian-Indian relations will continue to deepen in a friendly and mutually beneficial manner. "Minsk is determined to elevate the bilateral dialogue to the level of strategic partnership," the head of state emphasized. "A good basis for our work to achieve this goal will be the roadmap for the development of key areas of cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of India for 2024-2026. I expect the document to be signed in the near future."
The Belarusian leader confirmed the country's readiness for fruitful joint work in international organizations. He also renewed the invitation to the Prime Minister of India to visit Belarus at his convenience.
Alexander Lukashenko wished Narendra Modi the successful accomplishment of all state tasks, good health, happiness, and well-being.
