This was reported to BELTA by the press service of the Belarusian leader.
"For Belarus, Nicaragua is a reliable friend and a significant partner in the Latin American region. It is important for us to maintain and strengthen contacts in order to jointly counter global challenges and threats, and to promote the building of a multipolar and just world order to ensure the sustainable development of both states," the congratulatory message reads.
The President emphasized that the interaction between the two countries, based on trust and respect, is reaching a qualitatively new level.
The Head of State expressed confidence that the agreements reached during the visit of a representative Belarusian delegation to Managua in April 2024 have laid a solid foundation for further fruitful cooperation and will provide a powerful impetus for the effective use of existing potential in economic, humanitarian, and other areas of common interest.
