The Head of State recalled that the Victory over Nazism was achieved through the joint efforts of all peoples of the Soviet Union, who united against a common enemy. Tens of other nations of the world fought against the Hitlerite horde alongside them. Including those from Europe and the USA. "And we have not forgotten this, we have a good memory, unlike them," the President noted.
"Our memory and truth stand as a reliable shield against the establishment of chaos and ideas of superiority in the world. They provide immunity against false ideas and hidden manipulations, becoming a beacon in the sea of challenges and threats of the new era," Alexander Lukashenko emphasized. - We did not fall to our knees before the enemies then, and we do not intend to bow our heads before them today. The war taught Belarusians to sacredly cherish their native land, to defend it at the cost of their own lives, and to preserve the memory of the feat of their ancestors. We will not allow a repeat of what they saw and experienced."

As the President noted, youth are being educated on the example of the war heroes in Belarus. It is they who are assigned the main role in preserving the memory of the feat of fathers, grandfathers, and great-grandfathers, which must be preserved primarily within families.
