Лукашенко об итогах заседания VII ВНС: в летопись государственного строительства вписана новая страница

Lukashenko on the results of the VII All-Belarusian People's Assembly meeting: a new page has been written into the annals of state-building

A new page has been written in the chronicle of state-building. This was stated by the President of Belarus, Chairman of the VII All-Belarusian People's Assembly Alexander Lukashenko on April 25, summing up the results of the first meeting of the VII APB, according to a BELTA correspondent.

The Head of State noted that all issues included in the meeting agenda were considered.

"We will consider that we have not yet reached the peaks in our work. I promise that we will reach them. The work of the first meeting of the VII All-Belarusian People's Assembly, formed with a new constitutional status, has concluded. A new page has been written in the chronicle of state-building," Alexander Lukashenko stated.

The President emphasized that great things are seen from a distance, and the APB is only at the beginning of a long journey.

"We, the people of Belarus, based on our responsibility for the present and future of the country, wishing to ensure peace and harmony, the well-being of our citizens, the inviolability of people's power, the independence and prosperity of our Belarus, have adopted strategic planning documents: the Concept of National Security and the Military Doctrine of our state. These documents embody our aspirations and hopes," Alexander Lukashenko noted.

Thus, during the meeting, the legal foundation for the legal security of Belarus was laid. "This is a guarantee of fulfilling the desires of millions of Belarusians. I am confident that the decisions made will serve as a solid basis for preserving the Belarusian people as a unique historical community and for multiplying the national wealth created by entire generations," the Head of State stated.

But decisions alone are not enough, he noted. "The most important thing lies ahead – painstaking work. And here I want to protect you from indifference and apathy. Being a delegate of the APB means, first and foremost, bearing responsibility for the fate of the country. Acting as a barometer of public sentiment. Being principled in defending national interests. We will all have to report on our work. To report to those who delegated you on all issues that were considered. To convey to everyone how important it is today to be strong, united, and cohesive in defending the interests of our native country. You have been delegated – which means you are trusted, you are listened to. Use this trust for the benefit of the prosperity of our native land. Strengthen your authority through deeds, support people's initiatives, help them unite for this purpose," the Belarusian leader urged the delegates.
