The meeting of the All-Belarusian People's Assembly as a constitutional body was held for the first time on April 24, BELTA reports.
During the event, the first four decisions were adopted - on the election of the Chairman of the All-Belarusian People's Assembly, his deputy and the presidium of the All-Belarusian People's Assembly, as well as on the approval of the provisional regulations of the All-Belarusian People's Assembly.
The President of the Republic of Belarus, Alexander Grigoryevich Lukashenko, was elected Chairman of the VII All-Belarusian People's Assembly.
Alexander Nikolaevich Kosinets was elected Deputy Chairman of the VII All-Belarusian People's Assembly.
