Lukashenko emphasized the constantly growing role and importance of air defense forces

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko congratulated military personnel and veterans of the air defense forces on their professional holiday - Air Defense Forces Day. This was reported to BELTA by the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The Head of State drew attention to the constantly increasing role and significance of the air defense forces, their equipping with the most modern equipment and armament. These forces demonstrate excellent field training during operational and combat training events, the President stated. And the main qualities for air defense soldiers have been and remain high professionalism, honor, valor, and courage, which allow them to quickly and efficiently solve the most complex tasks of protecting the air borders of the Fatherland.

"I am convinced that you will continue to do everything to ensure that there is always a clear sky over our country, following the glorious traditions of the veterans and remaining an example of loyalty to the oath and military duty," the congratulation reads.

Alexander Lukashenko thanked the military personnel and veterans of the air defense forces for their service and wished them good health, peace, well-being, and new achievements in their military service for the benefit of Belarus.
