"I know that all mothers and those who are preparing to become mothers are concerned about whether the state will continue to support motherhood and childhood. You correctly sense the essence of this issue - it is a very expensive undertaking. We are the most social state. We have not dozens, but hundreds of benefits for the population, and primarily for women. Family capital is millions of dollars. Therefore, you keenly feel: can the state afford it, can it manage? I dare to assure you that under any conditions and circumstances, our state will bear this burden. In full, and if necessary, beyond these volumes. Child benefits will be paid with a tendency to increase, no one is encroaching on parental leave, we will find the necessary funds so that children's medicine keeps pace with the world (we are close to this), and children's health resorts are an example to follow," said Alexander Lukashenko.

At the same time, the President drew attention to the fact that while state assistance is undoubtedly very important, support from men is no less important for every woman.

"Because a man in the family is not only material support, but first and foremost a reliable shoulder in domestic duties. Teach men this, so that they participate in raising a child daily and hourly. Not only a boy, but also a girl. By the way, at your suggestion, a new holiday has been established - Father's Day (October 21). It has naturally entered our lives.
