On the eve of March 8, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko traditionally presented state awards to 15 women from various regions and departments of the country, BELTA correspondent reports.
The award ceremony took place during the Head of State's meeting with the active members of the "Belarusian Women's Union" Public Association. As Alexander Lukashenko noted, at all times, maternal affection and female love have preserved Belarus, protected it from adversity, healed wounded hearts, given meaning to life and strength in the struggle for the Fatherland.
"Allow me to thank you for your contribution to strengthening the family and family values, for your daily and hourly work, mercy and kindness. May each of you, whether seasoned with experience or just starting your life's journey, be happy above all else," the President noted.
"Men live primarily for and because of you. You are our motherland, you are our patriotism, you are our Fatherland," he said.
The Head of State continued: "The happiness of women is the greatest value. Because a woman's happiness is immense, it is all-encompassing, from our little ones to our country. May peace, love, and most importantly, children's laughter always reign in your homes. And preferably, not just one child, well, three... That's the only thing I ask of you."
The President addressed those present: "You carry out this good mission of patriotism not for money, but for free. You are raising all of us, especially the youth and children, in this spirit. This selflessness is priceless. I want to thank you for this, to congratulate you again on the upcoming holiday. Live, love, create," the President wished.
The Head of State also noted that if help and support are needed, he is ready to provide it.
And according to the established good tradition, the President presented state awards to women on the eve of March 8.
The Order of Motherhood was awarded to housewife Anna Gorbakova, employee of the Beloushsky kindergarten of the Stolin district Nadezhda Denishchich, music director of kindergarten No. 337 in Minsk Svetlana Zueva, preschool education teacher of the Zapesochskaya basic school of the Zhytkovichi district Irina Kurban, nurse of the City Children's Infectious Clinical Hospital Darya Leonovich, and seller of OOO "Agrokhlebservice" of the Dyatlovo district Marina Titko.
The medal "For Labor Merits" was awarded to the head of the main statistics department of the Brest region Olga Vilavskaya, deputy director for academic affairs of the Mogilev State Industrial College Natalia Volkova, professor of the Department of Economic Theory of the Belarusian State Order of the October Revolution and the Red Banner of Labor Agricultural Academy Larisa Pakush, deputy director - head of the Institute of Legal Research of the National Center for Legislation and Legal Research Elena Semashko, head of the clinical and biochemical laboratory of the institution "432nd Order of the Red Star Main Military Clinical Medical Center of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus" Tatyana Chirikova.
The Head of State also presented the Medal of Francysk Skaryna to the director of secondary school No. 7 in Brest Anna Omelyanchuk, the chief ballet master of the troupe of the Honored Collective "Academic Ensemble of Song and Dance of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus" Anzhela Andrachik, and the director of the Center for Additional Education of Children and Youth "Evrika" in Minsk Svetlana Shmagorevskaya.
In addition, the honorary title of Honored Teacher was awarded to the teacher of Russian language and literature of Snovskaya secondary school Inna Vinnik.
