I know heroism. But where is the problem? Lukashenko received the Head of Presidential Affairs Nazarov with a report

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko heard a report from the Administrator of the Presidential Affairs of Belarus Yury Nazarov, a BELTA correspondent reports.

The Head of State inquired about the work of enterprises and organizations of the Administration of Presidential Affairs, and primarily about the existing shortcomings. Another topic of the working meeting was the personnel issue.

"In a nutshell, the results. First of all, where are the problems? I know about heroism. But where are the problems?" the President asked. "And personnel – you suggested discussing this issue."

As Yury Nazarov reported, overall, the Administration of Presidential Affairs has performed well, but in assessing the situation, they have reached each enterprise and identified existing shortcomings. "We held a final meeting of the collegium and sorted things out. We looked not at the overall 'temperature in the hospital,' but at specific enterprises," he said.

Following the report, Yury Nazarov told journalists that the Administration of Presidential Affairs knows who is underperforming within the structure, and relevant assessments have been made. "We will rectify the situation," he assured. "I reported to the President on how we started the year. We started it well. The only issue that we are now taking under more specific control is the export of goods and services."

The Administrator of Presidential Affairs explained that, for example, while everything is going well with tourist services – guests are coming, sanatoriums are in demand, and there is growth dynamics – there are certain problems with the export of goods. "We know how to solve them. We will probably gather in a broad format at the end of March, set tasks. I think we will rectify the situation," Yury Nazarov is confident.

He also noted that if assessed within the framework of the five-year plan, the pace of the Administration of Presidential Affairs corresponds to the previously set parameters: "Including exports, we are proceeding within the five-year plan. We performed a bit better earlier, and now we have slowed down. But these are objective reasons. With the export of timber products, as you know, due to sanctions, we have reoriented the flow. As for production issues, things are going more or less well here."

Personnel issues were also discussed at the working meeting. "We will submit a number of proposals to the President for filling vacancies, including managerial ones, that we have in the system," Yury Nazarov noted.
