Measures have been taken to develop remote financial services in Belarus

On February 19, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed Decree No. 64, which creates additional conditions for the further development and improvement of remote financial services.

BELTA was informed about this by the press service of the Head of State. In particular, the document expands the range of legal entities that have the right to carry out remote identification of clients and due diligence of their data using the interbank identification system. To enhance the security and quality of the services provided, the requirements for conducting remote identification are detailed, including when using biometric personal data.
