President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko congratulated Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus' Kirill on the anniversary of his enthronement. BELTA was informed about this by the press service of the Belarusian leader.
"Throughout all the years of service at the head of the Russian Orthodox Church, you have actively cared for your co-religionists, shown great empathy for their needs, and generously shared your rich experience," the congratulatory message reads. "Your life is an example of following the holy commandments of the Savior, unwavering faith in Him, for only it is capable of changing and transforming a person, filling the soul with true meaning and joy. The homes of the peoples of Belarus and Russia are warmed by your prayers, and our fraternal relations are strengthened."
Alexander Lukashenko wished Patriarch Kirill good health, well-being, peace, and harmony.
