President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko congratulated employees and veterans of the emergency services and divisions on their professional holiday – Rescuer's Day, and on the significant date – the 25th anniversary of the emergency services and divisions. BELTA was informed about this by the press service of the Belarusian leader.
"Today, our rescue service is a well-coordinated and highly mobile structure capable of performing the entire spectrum of emergency rescue operations. By performing unique and complex tasks daily, you make a significant contribution to ensuring the security of our country and its creative development," the congratulatory message reads.
"On this day, honoring Belarusian rescuers, we thank the veterans who have dedicated themselves to a noble and dangerous profession, we remember the heroes who gave their lives fighting against the elements, we admire the courage and strength of spirit of everyone who, risking themselves, responds promptly and effectively to the challenges of natural and man-made threats," the President emphasized. "You are brave, courageous, and selfless people – true patriots of your country."
Alexander Lukashenko wished employees and veterans of the emergency services and divisions good health, happiness, and well-being. "Take care of yourselves, your loved ones, and our native Belarus!" the head of state added.
