Presidential scholarships of Belarus for 2024 have been awarded to 62 postgraduate students

Scholarships of the President of Belarus for 2024 have been awarded to 62 postgraduate students conducting dissertation research in priority areas of scientific, scientific-technical, and innovative activities at educational institutions and scientific organizations. The corresponding decree was signed on January 16 by Head of State Alexander Lukashenko, BELTA was informed by the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The scientific research and development of the scholarship holders in the fields of technical, physical-mathematical, chemical, medical, agricultural, economic, pedagogical sciences, art history, and sports are carried out on topics that are relevant and in demand for the respective industries.

The results of the work have been implemented in the educational process, practical activities of industrial, medical, and agricultural organizations, presented at republican and international conferences, and published in scientific journals.

The President's decree is adopted with the aim of supporting the scientific developments of postgraduate students, stimulating the training of highly qualified scientific personnel, developing domestic scientific schools, and attracting talented youth to science.
