The "For Spiritual Revival" awards and special Presidential awards have been presented to cultural and art figures

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko awarded the "For Spiritual Revival" prizes and special prizes to cultural and art figures. The head of state signed the corresponding decrees on December 19, the press service of the Belarusian leader informed BELTA.

Five Presidential prizes "For Spiritual Revival" have been awarded for active work in the humanitarian sector, which contributes to strengthening the spiritual values and moral traditions of the Belarusian people and the patriotic education of youth, based on the results of 2023.

Abbess Anfisa (Antonina Lyubchak) of the Holy Protection Convent has been honored with the high award for her significant personal contribution to strengthening spiritual values, cultural and moral education of children and youth, and active participation in the revival of cultural and historical values of the Vitebsk region.

The prize has also been awarded to the collectives of

Polotsk Cadet School - for fruitful work in the civic-patriotic education of the younger generation;

Gomel City Center for Inclusive Culture - for active work in the humanitarian sphere, significant contribution to the development of creative abilities and social adaptation of people with disabilities;

Republican Scientific and Practical Center "Mother and Child" - for excellent achievements in improving the quality and accessibility of medical care, and promoting family values in society;

Mogilev Regional Methodological Center for Folk Art and Cultural and Educational Work - for a significant contribution to the preservation of Belarus's cultural heritage and the implementation of the cultural and tourism project - the festival "Kupalye" ("Alexandria Gathers Friends").

10 special prizes of the President of Belarus have been awarded to cultural and art figures for excellent achievements in the fields of theater, music, decorative and applied arts, folk and amateur artistic creativity, and the training and education of creative youth, which have received public recognition.

The author team, consisting of Olga Bogdanovich, Deputy Head of the Department of Cultural and Educational Work, Arts and Educational Institutions of the Grodno Regional Executive Committee's Culture Department, Alexander Versotsky, Chairman of the Svisloch District Executive Committee, and Elena Chikova, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Grodno Regional Consumer Society, has been honored with a high award. They were recognized with a prize for their significant contribution to the implementation of creative projects aimed at preserving the traditional culture of Belarus and for organizing the "Bat'skava Bulka" karavai festival.

The General Prosecutor's Office, the Belarusian Telegraph Agency, and the National State Television and Radio Company have been awarded special prizes of the President of Belarus for their significant contribution to preserving historical memory and truth about the Great Patriotic War, and for implementing the projects "Last Witnesses" and "Genocide. Without the Right to Life."

The "Vitiny" Folk Brass Band of the Stolbtsy Children's Art School has been awarded for its significant contribution to the education of creative youth and active participation in socio-cultural projects. The "Syabrynka" Estrada Song Theater of the MAZ Palace of Culture has been recognized for developing the best traditions and achievements of national art and for its active participation in patriotic-themed events.

Special prizes were also awarded to:

Director Ivana Zhigon and the team of the M. Gorky National Academic Drama Theater for their significant contribution to the preservation and popularization of Slavic culture and the implementation of joint Belarusian-Serbian creative projects;

Songwriter Anna Seluk (Anna Sergeevna Lukashenko) for her significant personal contribution to the development of modern musical art and the implementation of socially significant cultural initiatives;

Master of folk musical instruments Ruslan Makarevich for his fruitful work in reviving the traditions of musical instrument making;

Anastasia Moskvina, Head of the Opera Troupe of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus, for her high professional skill and outstanding achievements in musical and theatrical art;

Elena Shuneyko, methodologist of the Grodno Regional Methodological Center for Folk Art, for her fruitful work in preserving the traditions of tapestry making;

the 1st and 2nd companies and the orchestra of the honor guard of the Minsk Military Commandant's Office for their significant achievements in patriotic education of youth and active participation in socio-political and cultural events.
