Лукашенко провел встречу с Президентом Кыргызстана Садыром Жапаровым

Lukashenko held a meeting with the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko held a meeting with President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov at the Palace of Independence, a BELTA correspondent reports.

The heads of state communicated in an informal setting, in a "no ties" format.

The conversation took place behind closed doors, but it is known that among the topics discussed were the upcoming CSTO summit, as well as some aspects of the development of bilateral relations.

As BELTA reported, during a meeting in late October with the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan, Alexander Lukashenko instructed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus to develop a country-specific plan for the development of relations with this country. Belarus is ready not only to significantly expand the range of supplied goods, equipment and machinery, but also to share its accumulated experience in various sectors and assist with personnel training.

On November 22, Alexander Lukashenko also held a meeting with President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon in Minsk.

Both leaders arrived in Minsk on the eve of the CSTO summit, which is scheduled for November 23. The session of the CSTO Collective Security Council (CSC) will be chaired by President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko. CSC members will discuss current issues of international and regional security, define upcoming tasks, and adopt a number of documents aimed at ensuring the interests of collective security.
