On November 1, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko had a telephone conversation with President of Russia Vladimir Putin. BELTA was informed about this by the press service of the Belarusian leader.
The main topic of the conversation was the upcoming CSTO summit of heads of state in November. Belarus currently presides over the organization.
The leaders of the countries also discussed the agenda of bilateral cooperation, focusing on key areas, including energy and import substitution projects.
Alexander Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin also coordinated their positions on current issues of the regional and international agenda.
