Лукашенко скорректировал указ о дополнительных мерах по обеспечению стабильного функционирования экономики

Lukashenko amended the decree on additional measures to ensure the stable functioning of the economy

On October 19, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed Decree No. 326, which amends Decree No. 93 of March 14, 2022, "On Additional Measures to Ensure the Stable Functioning of the Economy." This was reported to BelTA by the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The adopted document extends, until a special decision of the head of state, the powers granted to the Council of Ministers by Decree No. 93 to make decisions regarding certain organizations of the real sector of the economy and to ensure budget balance.

Additionally, the government is empowered to increase insurance contribution rates for vehicles of foreign states that have terminated bilateral agreements on compulsory third-party liability insurance of vehicle owners (as a reciprocal measure).

Furthermore, the decree introduces a system of state control over the alienation by persons from unfriendly countries of their shares in authorized funds (stocks), as well as real estate of Belarusian enterprises (providing for such alienation only with the permission of the government and on the condition that the seller pays a contribution to the local budget of at least 25% of the market value of the alienated shares (stocks), real estate).

A fee is also introduced for legal entities providing services for the entry and accommodation of trucks registered in European Union countries in specially designated areas for cargo operations (at a rate of 0.8 of the base rate per service rendered by the organization). This innovation will come into force three months after the official publication of the decree.
