Lukashenko: even in today's difficult conditions, Spaniards and Belarusians will be able to maintain friendly ties
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko congratulated the people of Spain on their national holiday - the Day of the Spanish Nation. This was reported to BELTA by the press service of the Belarusian leader.
"Despite the different paths of historical development of our countries, both peoples are united by many common traits, including reverence for Christian values, the cult of family, striving for creative work, patriotism, and empathy for the misfortunes of others," the congratulatory message reads.
The Head of State expressed confidence that even in today's challenging conditions, Spaniards and Belarusians will be able to maintain friendly ties and remain partners who respect each other and are interested in expanding constructive, mutually beneficial cooperation for the better future of their descendants.
Alexander Lukashenko wished the people of Spain peace, well-being, and further progress.
