Lukashenko warned the government: there can be no more talk about accounts receivable
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has demanded that the government and the National Bank resolve the issue of accounts receivable, primarily concerning Belarusian potash fertilizers.
The head of state made this statement on October 3 at a meeting on the export of Belarusian goods, according to BELTA.
"Regarding the potash market, I would also like to hear about the current situation, especially concerning accounts receivable. Primarily for the supply of mineral fertilizers and potash fertilizers, in particular," said Alexander Lukashenko.
In Belarus, in addition to potash fertilizers, nitrogen and phosphorus fertilizers are also produced. In this regard, the head of state recalled that proposals had previously been made to create a single company to handle their sales. However, the idea did not gain traction.
