Lukashenko congratulated motorized riflemen: the warriors' resilience, courage, and high combat proficiency remain unchanged

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko congratulated veteran motorized riflemen, servicemen of mechanized formations and military units of the Armed Forces on their professional holiday - Motorized Riflemen's Day. This was reported to BelTA by the press service of the Belarusian leader.

"Courageous infantry - the 'queen of the fields' - is the foundation of any army. It was so in past times, and it remains so today. Tactics, armament, and equipment change - the steadfastness, courage, and high combat proficiency of our soldiers remain unchanged," the congratulatory message reads.

The Head of State noted the symbolism that the origins of today's holiday are closely linked to the history of the Great Patriotic War and the heroic actions of the 1st Moscow Rifle Division, which distinguished itself in battles on Belarusian soil and received the honorary title of "Guards" on September 21, 1941.

In our days, a new generation of soldiers of mechanized formations and military units is successfully mastering the difficult science of victory, sacredly preserving the victorious traditions of veterans and effectively solving the most complex training and combat tasks, the Belarusian leader stated.

"I am convinced that each of you fully understands that it is the skill, professionalism, and patriotism of the soldiers and officers of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus that are the best guarantees of maintaining peace and security on our native land. And, if necessary, you will do everything to defend the freedom and independence of our country," Alexander Lukashenko emphasized.

The President wished veteran motorized riflemen, servicemen of mechanized formations and military units, as well as their loved ones good health, happiness, well-being, and great success in strengthening the defense capability of Belarus.
