Lukashenko: Belarusians are the most peace-loving nation on earth

Belarusians are the most peace-loving nation on Earth. This was stated by the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko at the patriotic forum "We are Belarusians!", dedicated to the Day of National Unity, as reported by a BELTA correspondent.

"Whatever internal political events may be happening in our neighboring countries, the peoples, I repeat again, Poles, Lithuanians, Latvians, Ukrainians, must understand: we are the most peace-loving nation on Earth. We are not brandishing nuclear weapons, nor any units - "Wagner" and so on - and we are not threatening anyone," the Belarusian leader stated.

Alexander Lukashenko, however, recalled historical facts: "We did not threaten anyone then either. But we were virtually wiped off the face of the earth. In the last war, we lost every third person. And then carelessness and complacency played a significant role in the fact that we almost lost Belarus."

"Therefore, we remember this. We have studied and are studying history. And we will always be ready to defend our Fatherland and our land," the head of state added.
