This was stated by the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko on September 12 during the ceremony of awarding state decorations, as reported by a BELTA correspondent.
The Head of State emphasized that the day of the reunification of Belarus, its eastern and western parts, September 17, 1939, became a symbol of our timeless national unity. "But this experience tells us that it is no less important to be together in peacetime. To work for the benefit of our people and the Fatherland," Alexander Lukashenko noted.
"And one must live in such a
