Урегулированы вопросы страхования авто в условиях выхода Беларуси из системы "Зеленая карта"

Issues of motor insurance have been resolved in the context of Belarus's withdrawal from the "Green Card" system

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed Decree No. 240 "On International Motor Insurance" on July 31, the press service of the Head of State informed BELTA.

The document is aimed at regulating relations concerning the insurance of civil liability of vehicle owners when traveling abroad, in the context of Belarus's withdrawal from the international "Green Card" insurance system.

The decree provides for the cancellation of the obligation for Belarusian vehicle owners (drivers) to present an insurance certificate confirming the conclusion of a "Green Card" insurance contract when leaving the territory of Belarus.

The Belarusian Bureau for Transport Insurance has been granted powers to participate on behalf of Belarus in international insurance systems (other than "Green Card"), as well as to conclude cooperation agreements in the field of compulsory insurance of civil liability of vehicle owners.
