More than Br370,000 from the President's special fund is allocated to encourage gifted students and pupils

Over Br370 thousand from the special fund of the President of the Republic of Belarus has been allocated for the encouragement of gifted students and pupils, as well as their teachers.

The relevant decision of the fund's council has been approved by the decree of the Head of State Alexander Lukashenko. This was reported to BELTA by the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The fund's awards recognized 52 winners of international and republican competitions and olympiads, and 32 pedagogical and scientific workers. In addition, 187 students and cadets of higher education institutions have been awarded the scholarship of the President of the Republic of Belarus for outstanding achievements in their studies, research, and creative activities.

The adoption of the decree of the Head of State is aimed at identifying and supporting the most motivated and gifted students, creating favorable conditions for the further development of their abilities and successful studies.
