Lukashenko: Prosecutors bear a special responsibility for solving a complex set of tasks

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko congratulated the employees and veterans of the prosecutor's office on their professional holiday. BELTA was informed about this by the press service of the head of state.

"By protecting the rights and freedoms of citizens, ensuring the supremacy of law and justice, and preserving historical truth, you are doing everything to ensure that Belarus develops and strengthens progressively, and that peace and harmony always prevail in our society," the congratulatory message reads.

All of this is particularly relevant today, when the employees of the prosecutor's office bear a special responsibility for solving a whole range of complex tasks in matters of maintaining legality and law and order, combating crime, and strengthening national security, the President noted.

"I am convinced that each of you understands this well, and high professionalism, integrity, and independence will allow you to effectively counter new challenges of our time," the Belarusian leader emphasized.

The head of state thanked the veterans for their work and expressed his gratitude to them for laying a solid foundation for the functioning of the entire system of prosecutor's offices, serving as an example of dedicated service to the country and the people, and for remaining in service, passing on their rich experience to the younger generation.

Alexander Lukashenko wished the employees of the prosecutor's office further success in their activities for the benefit of their native Belarus, as well as good health, happiness, and well-being to them and their loved ones.
