Lukashenko was informed about the creation of domestic ammunition production

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko was informed about the creation of domestic ammunition production during a working trip to the Minsk region, BELTA correspondent reports.

Upon arrival, the head of state first inquired with the Governor of the Minsk region about how the established weather conditions affect the harvest.

"Well, is it drying out?" the President asked.

"Unevenly," replied Alexander Turchin.

Alexander Lukashenko demanded that special attention be paid to the preservation of fodder crops. Grain, he said, could still be purchased if necessary, but fodder crops must be harvested in maximum quantities.

Immediately upon arrival at one of the military-industrial complex enterprises in the Minsk region, the head of state inquired whether the responsible persons had fulfilled their promises regarding the establishment of domestic ammunition production.

"Dear Comrade Commander-in-Chief, in fulfillment of your instruction to organize the production of the most commonly used types of ammunition in the Republic of Belarus, we have organized the relevant work," reported Dmitry Pantus, Chairman of the State Military Industrial Committee. According to him, this work began in November 2022, and currently, more than fifty hull and mechanical parts for this type of ammunition are being manufactured at enterprises of the State Military Industrial Committee and the Ministry of Industry in the established manner.
