Lukashenko: Belarus has a warm attitude towards Georgians and expects to multiply cooperation results

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko congratulated the people of Georgia on their national holiday - Independence Day. BELTA was informed about this by the press service of the Belarusian leader.

"The path to the formation of the modern Georgian state continued for more than a millennium, filled with heroic struggle, periods of flourishing and severe trials. The inhabitants of this beautiful land have passed through it with honor, great courage, and dignity," the congratulation reads. "In Belarus, we treat Georgians with warmth, as they embody the richest culture, the unique character, and the hospitality of their native land."

Over the years of sovereignty, Belarus and Georgia have achieved significant success in developing bilateral economic, scientific, and cultural ties, the foundation of which has always been respect and trust.

"I am confident that, relying on historically established friendly relations, our peoples will be able to preserve and multiply the results of joint work in various areas of cooperation," the Belarusian leader emphasized.

Alexander Lukashenko wished the people of Georgia peaceful skies, well-being, and prosperity.
