Lukashenko took part in Victory Day celebrations in Moscow

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko took part in Victory Day celebrations in Moscow, BELTA correspondent reports.

The head of state attended the parade in Red Square dedicated to the 78th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. Before the event, he was greeted by President of Russia Vladimir Putin.

Together with other leaders of CIS countries and veterans who arrived in Moscow, Alexander Lukashenko watched the parade from the stands.

A minute of silence was observed in memory of those who fell during the Great Patriotic War.

After the parade, the leaders of the countries together laid a wreath and flowers at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in the Alexander Garden near the Kremlin walls.

Presidents of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and the Prime Minister of Armenia also arrived in Moscow.
